Doors out to nearby locations in the Tower are behind you.

Examples (Highest Weighted to Lowest):
1) Teaching one or more particularly well written or needed class. Simply teaching one or more extra classes, not used for raising requirements, or taking over someone else's ongoing class are equally weighted.
2) Contributing to Tower discussions by posting on the Improvements Board, mailing a Sitter, or otherwise publicly discussing how the WY or Tower could be improved (not just what you think is problematic).
3) Writing your character's Survival Test fanfic (see the WiT Advice page for the scenario).
4) Adding a resource to the Warder Library.
5) Evaluating, training, or teaching a class on Weapon Skills, Advantages, or combat theory.
6) Hosting a major role play.
7) Completing extra classes (especially taught by fellow Ji'
8) Possessing Java, Pearl, computer graphics, or other advanced web page creation skills you intend to offer to advance the Warder Yard.
9) Writing particularly good fanfics and/or threads.
10) Earning all of the skill points attainable in the Ji' rank.
Be creative! Think of it in terms of what you have contributed, or could contribute, to the Warder Yard. Achievements that contribute to bettering the Warder Yard are weighed the more heavily than simply being a good role-player (I.E.: teaching a weapon skill class on top of the requirement to teach a class for raising). You are required to submit one quality/achievement for entry, but more than one will allow the Warder-Channeler Representative to be more informed when making their decision. Know that judgment of your "above and beyond-ness" is subjective; a good number of applying Ji'alantin/ar will not get in on the first try, but can re-petition after getting feedback.

Those Ji'alantin and Ji'alantar who gain admittance into the Privy Council are particularly honored for their motivation and potential. This honor is recognized through an IC public ceremony in which the Ji' is raised to the rank of Sa'ji'alantin/ar. In the ceremony, Sa'ji'alantar are presented with their honor dagger and shield to wear proudly. They stand in higher rank than Ji', but lower rank than Gaidin and Gaidar. But of course, Sa'ji are not expected to do anything but contribute to discussion as they should be finishing their Raising Requirements. Major roles in the Warder Yard are given preferentially to raised Warders. It is also not a required rank, merely an honored and optional one. To be fair, Sa'ji will not be able to view or discuss certain issues like revising the Test of the Fancloak before they take it in order to gain their own fancloaks, but that is the exception rather than the rule.
Sa'ji'alantin are also presented the ring of the Council of Youth, and access to this forum as well.
E-mail requests to the Warder-Channeler Representative with "Attn: WCR" in the subject line with your character name, rank, e-mail address, and proof of what you have done beyond the minimum requirements for getting raised. Proof may include urls, letters of recommendation, or other such ways for the WCR to check your work.Drin'far'ji should concentrate on getting used to the Tower and developing their characters as their first priority. But active participation in the Warder Yard is encouraged and they are advised to plan ahead for petitioning as Ji' to become Sa'ji. Drin'far'ji may begin contributing "above and beyond" Ji' requirements and report it after being raised to Ji'.
By Invitation:
The Warder Officers may also jointly opt to invite Gaidin, Gaidar, Ji'alantin, and Ji'alantar into the Privy Council. However, it is preferred that Warders, Ji'alantin, and Ji'alantar be proactive and apply for membership.
