Privy Council Rules

Because the Privy Council is hosted for the benefit of the whole Yards, you are to follow the rules that we abided to back when the board was hosted by Bravenet.com. This is not because of mere tradition, but more because you will take your advisory-role seriously and not behave like children while in session. For members of the Privy Council the section below is relevant, and the parts often overlooked are italicized:

"You are not allowed to associate any Web Services with adult oriented material such as pornography, XXX material, Gorean, anything illegal, bigotry, racism, hatred, profanity, or company, or depicts the exploitation of minors (children under 18 years of age). . . No spamming allowed, no soliciting, mail fraud, pyramid schemes, or any material which may be insulting to another person(s)harassing, threatening or illegal activities. Be good!"

Anonymous posts will be deleted on sight, as they are dishonorable and counter productive.

By entering the Privy Council, members swear not to reveal its contents, nor give acess, to anyone to anyone who is not already a member. This is to keep the meaning of "privy" in the council, as the contents are sensetive and members are trusted.

The Warder Officers retain the right to amend or change all pages associated with the Warder Yard and Privy Council. Truly inactive members of the Privy Council will also lose access until they re-apply, as the Council is for active participants. Of course, arrangements regarding sharas and semi-sharas can be made.

The Privy Council serves an advisory function and is a source of volunteer positions of authority granted by the Warder Officers; yet the Warder Officers reserve the right to make all final decisions regarding Warder affairs.
