| Caden Ives | Master of Arms | Name: Zi'lin Type: Longsabre Description: A sabre that can be wielded with one or two hands. It has a basket-hilt in the resemblence of lightning encompassing the wielder's hand. It carries the heron-mark on both the base of the blade as well as the black sheath - which carry discret silver engravings. History: This sabre has been with Caden since he first came to the Tower. It was a gift from his foster-fater, Varcan Saniral, who gave it to him and told him to honour it. Caden didn't at first, since he became a sellsword and killed for money before he came to the Grey Tower's gates. But that dark time in his life has only hardened his resolve to do so now, when he swings it to defend his Aes Sedai and fight the Shadow until the last drop of blood falls. |
| Name: Undecided Type: Ashandarei Description: It has a plain steel blade and a sturdy black shaft. The blade has a small engraving of an eye on both sides - encompassed with thin avendesora patterns. History: Caden found this weapon in the town he grew up - Bandar Eban. He left it with the woman he loved back then because he had to escape from the city. When he was Gaidin Captain, a Drin'far'ji named Bascha Surani showed up in the Yards. She carried the very same ashandarei that he had left in Arad Doman. It turned out that she was his unknown daughter. A vagabond spirit, Bascha decided to leave the Tower shortly after this discovery was made. She left Caden a letter of farewell, along with the ashandarei that had originally been his. Whenever he practice with it, he pay homage to his daughter and her mother - paying respect to the chapter in his life that only became half-read. | ||

| Durent Antian | Keeper of the Archives | Name: Undecided Type: Vambraces & Greaves Description: The first weapons are a pair of steel gauntlets, with scaled metal links along each finger. But they are longer than regular gauntlets – continuing in vambraces that reach as far as the elbow. When the wearer close his hand to a fist, a sharp crescent edge reveals itself along the front of the knuckles. The metal plates are fasted together upon long black gloves of boiled leather. The craftsmanship allow the wearer a rare liberty of movement with the wrist and fingers, without making the moving parts thin and weak to a direct blow like other armours do. Secondly, two steel greaves are added, making a complete set. The design is unmistakenly the same as the gauntlets. To be exact, they are full-greaves, which means that they protect the backside of the calves as well. They resemble boots in the way they protect the foot, with supple leather soles inside and boiled black leather underneath the wearer’s feet. In front of the kneecap, a dome of polished steel stretch up and end in a rectangular plate. Along the wearer’s forearms and calves, avendesora patterns spread like the branches of the Tree of Life. They are seamless and have neither beginning nor end; a reminder to what use these weapons are meant for; the Light’s endless battle to preserve life. Along the insides the forearms, next to the bindings of black leather strings, are two words engraved – one for each vambrace. They are “Life”, and “Death” – engraved in the old tongue. The four parts make a weapon in themselves, made for a master in Unarmed Combat. History: Durent Antian was given these weapons by Caden Ives Gaidin, as a kind of first payment for the debt of his humanity. |

Disapeared when Nerad Asha'man and Chyane Sedai disappeared from the Grey -tower not long before they wed. Found recently in Elman's Creek by an associate of Riven's. | Liana en'Damier | Sitter of the Indigo Ajah | Name: Lady's Sword Type: Swept-hilt Rapier Description: A black swept-hilt rapier with a long, thin, blade. The basic shape of the hilt resembles Caden Ives Gaidin's basket-hilt blade. Silver, and gold designs in detail intertwine the hilt. The swept guard was embellished with several female figures in various preening poses in stark contrast to the duty of the sword: to maim and kill. It symbolizes the merge of her dual nature, a warrior and lady, meant to defend her honor. Image 1, image 2 and image 3. History: Lord Sigmund Gaidin gave this sword to her on her Sword Day, by Shienarean custom, in honor of both their paternal bond as her adopted grandfather and of her Shienarean heritage (through her maternal grandfather, Jaisen Davram, of Shienar). It was the first sword she learned to fight with when she was training as a Drin'far'ji, before the spark was detected in her. It was later paired with a matching parrying dagger when she was an Accepted. |
| Kanamai Hukini | Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah | Name: Undecided Type: Jian Description: Kanamai's jian is not a ter'angreal, simply a sword from times past. It is of sanmei construction, with softer steel on the two outside layers and a very hard inserted edge. This gives it resiliance and an extremely sharp cutting edge. The blade is 30" long and the fittings are of brass. It is made to be weilded in one hand. Image 1, image 2 and image 3. History: This sword has been in the Hukini family for generations. It was power wrought in the days when Asha'man knew how to do such things, and Kanamai has always believed the original swordsmith was one of her ancestors. Kanamai's father was swordsmith to the King of Malkier in the last days of its existence. He owned the sword back then, and it was to be passed to his son, Kanamai's brother. Both her father and brother rode off into the Blight one fateful morning and were never seen again. Kanamai awoke to find a note from her brother, and the sword, handed over to her care. She has carried it ever since. In her young days, Kanamai used the sword in battle. She had begun as stable "boy" in the Saldaean Army, and soon married an officer, Jesam, who had long since discovered she was a woman. They fought side by side in the Borderlands, and this sword was always her only one. Kanamai was a Wilder who eventually made her way to the Grey Tower, bringing the sword with her. Croi Gaidin helped her to hone her skills with it, as did Ashfalcon Asha'man. She owns other swords, but this is the one she always carries. |
| Jerid Walker | Dedicated | Name: Undecided Type: Ashandarei Description: The ashandarei is like any other, a finely and excellently crafted weapon. The weapon's blade is steel, with a fox engraved on both sides of the blade. The shaft is of stout black walnut and capped at the bottom with a steel cap. Image History: When Jerid acquired the ashandarei from the Weaponry, Master Smith Kor Faeldran mentioned the weapon had belonged to a warrior from Ebou Dar, in the days of the Trolloc Wars. Curious, Jerid has done some research. The ashandarei was the weapon of Armane Sorel of Barashta, a city in the nation of Eharon. Sorel was a captain in the Eharon army toward the end of the Trolloc Wars, a skilled commander who led his forces from victory to victory, and was known for his foxlike cunning. The ashandarei was his weapon with which he dispensed the Shadow's forces. While Sorel died in the defense of his city, the ashandarei was survived the War, passed down through generations until it found its way into the Weaponry. Although a skilled warrior, Sorel believed that there was a difference between using a weapon to merely kill and using it with purpose. It is a standard Jerid intends to keep. |
