Aaron
Pronounced: Air' - rin
Rank: Dedicated Aspiring to the Brown Ajah

Profile:

The first thing people tend to notice about Aaron is that he\'s an albino. His skin is pale, pigmentless, as is his hair. His eyes are a pale pink color. But he has a strong face. His nose and cheekbones give off a semblance of strength and his jaw is firm and steady.

His personality is much diminished at present. He\'s lost, uncertain as to who or where he is, or what he\'s doing. Curiosity and wonder pervade his thoughts and actions more than anything, but when they eventually fade, his true personality will surface. All in all, he tends to be laid back and non-confrontational. At least for now.

Biography:

For two days he had wandered, eating whatever he happened to find that seemed remotely edible. The water he'd had from the streams he'd passed had tasted somewhat brackish, though he didn't really know what his basis for comparison was. For two days he had wandered after awaking in a wood with no memory as to how he had gotten there. He had no memory of anything actually.

Over the hours he had wandered he had remembered nothing. The singular memory that came to him in the two days had been while he was sleeping. It had been a name. Aaron. He didn't know if it was his name or someone else's, but it was all he had.

As the sun had reached the horizon on the first day, he had climbed a nearby tree as far up as he could to see what he could see. He'd been surrounded by forests, so far as he could tell, but nearby had been a solitary grey tower sticking above the horizon. He hadn't been able to discern whether or not the tower was inhabited or what it could be used for, but it was a landmark and it gave him a goal.

A full day and night later, he had finally arrived. The tower was much larger than he had first thought, which he know was why he had thought it was closer. He was also happy to hear people wandering about on the other side of the wall. Certianly there must be a gate somewhere.

Silenced by his awe of the impressive structure and his joy at having found what he assumed to be intelligent life, he wandered around the tower, following the wall until a road came into view. Where the wall met the road, there was a large entranceway. There were travellers along the road. He was overjoyed to find that they were of a species that seemed inherently familiar to him, likely because they were the same species he was. They were darker, with darker hair and eyes, but he vaguely felt that that was normal.

A few of them were staring at him, standing idly by the side of the road. He approached them somewhat cautiously, hoping they were friendly. And hoping they would understand him. "Excuse me," he said tentatively, glad that his voice worked as he thought it should, "could you tell me where I am? What is this building?"

Their eyes narrowed slightly. "You are near the town of Elman's Creek, in the Two Rivers region of Andor," one of them replied. "That building is the Grey Tower."

He was in luck. He understood most of their words. The one's he didn't understand he was certain were names of places. And this building was the Grey Tower. An apt name. "Are the people of the Grey Tower friendly? Do they accept the presence of strangers?"

"Of course. New people come in all the time. Are you okay? You're asking some very strange questions."

He smiled sardonically. "I don't believe I am okay, actually. I'm afraid I have no idea who or where I am. I need someplace where I can stay and work until my memory returns. Do they need help here at the Grey Tower?"

The two men looked at each other, apprantly having some sort of unspoken dialogue. The same man who'd answered the previous times answered again. "I admit, I'm not sure whether or not they do. It can't hurt to ask."

It could, conceivably, but this man was more likely to know whether or not it was likely to. He would trust this stranger. He had very little other choice. "Thank you, sir. I will inquire within."

"Good luck, friend."

With a somber nod, he left the two men standing beside the road and passed through the gates.
