Anlieria Tasoid
Profile: Anlieria Tasoid is a seventeen year old woman of middling height, with yellow hair falling just past her shoulder blades and pale blue eyes. She is usually very calm and cool, though when her temper flares us, it is ferocious, and she is outgoing and rather blunt at times, almost always speaking her mind. Usually, her eyes are hooded slightly, thoug hwhen excited, they open wide, and her smile turns her otherwise ordinary face pretty. She is used to having men admire her, but she does not mind when more beautiful women are around. If Anlieria sets her mind to something, she will never give up short of success or blatant failure. Biography: The third child of a Lord of the Land--and the first girl--Anlieria
Tasoid was the favored child, with her parents hopeful that she would
marry a High Lord. All this changed when her inborn ability to channel
manifested itself at the age of fifteen, and her parents practically
disowned her, giving her three purses and two necklaces before throwing her
out of their home.
Suddenly alone in the world, Anlieria wandered for awhile, with dreams
of seeing the great cities and absolutely no intention of learning to
control her ability to channel. She made it to Cairhien and Caemlyn,
where she met the son of a wealthy merchant and fell in love. She intended
to marry him, but then he was killed in a vicious tavern brawl.
Anlieria began learning archery and swordplay, but she was terrible at
both. Suddenly dejected and without a reason to live, she attempted
suicide but failed. Remembering the whole reason she was kicked out of her
home, she began experimenting with her ability to channel and only
succeeded in making herself violently ill. Finally, she set off for the
Grey Tower, but more misfortune befell her.
A thief snatched all her money as well as her necklaces, leaving her
with nothing but the clothes on her back. Despite her pride in her
somewhat noble birth, Anlieria became a servant in a noble Andoran House.
But, as her ability to channel began manifesting itself more and more, she
set off for the Grey Tower.
Along her journey, word reached Anlieria of the fall of the Stone of
Tear, and suddenly her desire to learn to channel grew, as certainty of
the Last Battle dawned on her, that she would most likely live to see it
begin, if not live through it.
