Biography:

The Son of a very minor Andoran noble, he was born on his fathers estate and as the eldest child became the Heir Apparent to the High Seat of House Chichelta. He has one sister, two years his junior, who has become the main horse trainer for the Chicheltan armsmen, despite her age.

Jaem was trained at an early age by some of his family's armsmen, because they all knew that sooner or later he would be rquired to help in the defense of their lands, from nearby Altaran Bandits, who would attack in large numbers. Unfortunately the House of Chichelta only had about one hundred soldiers at its disposal, so upon signing up each recruit would be trained until they were masters at that particular weapon, with four out of five men being trained with specially imported Two-Rivers Longbows and pikes, and the rest (an the best applicants) being trained as Heavy cavalry and swordsmen, with all their commanders being required to have reached the level of blademaster. Jaems first major action was at the age of 16, when he was accompanying his sister, along with five other soldiers, to buy some more horses; They were attacked by a group of eight bandits and Jaem managed to kill two of them, due to his large amounts of training.

At the age of 17 and because of the strain of constantly having to battle bandits at such a young age, and after witnessing how moody the younger armsmen were becoming. Jaem decided that to keep sane he would have to try and adopt a carefree and funloving attitude, over his more normal quiet self, he took this too far and within a year he had a serious gambling and drink problem, which culminated in a messy street brawl in which he was stabbed and would have died had a skilled Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah not been staying in the town. Due to his envolvement with an Aes Sedai, he is alot more trusting of anything to do with The One Power than most people, an was overjoyed at finding out he could channel himself.
