Rossam Noristan 'Mr Noristan!' Rossam looked up irritably from his book, his brow creasing. 'What do you want Tri?' he snapped, his tone cold. 'My apologies for disturbing your work, but Master Talwim is here to see you. He says he has brought a visitor with him. One who would like to speak to you about your work.' Rossam sighed and shut his book. For anyone else, he would have snapped at Tri to make them make an appointment. But Gimlin Talwim had been his mentor, the man who introduced him to philosophy. He would always take time out to see Master Talwim. Entering the room, Rossam embraced the old man. Before Rossam could speak, he gestured him silent, pointing to the man who sat quietly in the corner. 'My apologies sir. I didn't even see you sat there. I'm Rossam Noristan.' He shook the man's hand. 'The Light illumine you Master Noristan. My name is Gadan Sevel, Asha'man of the White ajah. I have heard of your many discoveries in philosophy. Maybe we could sit down and chat about them?' Rossam bowed and led the young man into his study. Several hours later, Rossam emerged, a shocked look on his face. 'I speak the truth, Master Noristan, I felt the ability to channel in you. You do have it.' 'But I can't go to the Grey Tower! I would be disrespected!' 'Ok, well, think of it like this. My ajah, the White, has the largest know collection of philosophy books in the world. You would have complete access to them, once you make the dragon. Will you come?' That made his mind up. 'Very well, I will come. When do we leave?' 'Tomorrow morning. And bring some of your books with you. The Tower would appreciate them.' Rossam is quite a small man, beanpole thin, clean shaven with black hair and dark eyes. He is quite cold and chilly, with a snappy voice and a distant air, but when you get to know him, he can be quite friendly.
