Gaidin Logoth The room was quiet now. Amora and Goldeneyes were sitting on her bed, unspoken words passing between them. Amora smiled deeply at the floor. *He read my mind!! He would promise himself to me if I asked . . . and he would make such a wonderful Warder.* She looked up at him, into his waiting eyes. The two yellow candles flickered. *I've never done this before, he cares about me so much. He said that he would protect me even if I didn't bond him. I trust him . . .* Even with those thoughts, her stomach fluttered. "Goldeneyes?" "Yes Amora?" With determination, her mind was set. She held his hand in hers and asked. "Would you promise to be my Warder when I become Aes Sedai, and promise not to look for another? And to protect me?" It felt easier now. "Would you promise yourself to me?" There, she said it. If he accepted, he would become her Gaiden logoth, or her waiting Warder. Her heart warmed from the look on his face, she waited for his answer . . . |
