Ripple Six: Aftermath
He had gone through ... in great detail ... his earlier reports about what was going on in the Wards, the same report he had delivered to Ellisande Gaidar that day in his study. Only now, both Sigmund Gaidin and Saphire Sedai got to hear it with their own ears for the first time. After that, he had briefed them about the hanging of Luantar cen Thaal, and also the murder of his body's guard later on. The second body had not been found yet, but he now knew the drin'far'ji's name. "?I concluded that Wensa Fuon is the one missing still. And that is the end of my report." With that, Caden pulled out his chair and sat down, folding his hands beneath his eyes. "We have sent the Unbonded Gaidin to search for more leads. That leaves us with the one question; how should we deal with this threat, based upon what we know this far?" Now that they were all there, it was time to decide. Caden had not wanted Shyne and Kira al'Haram ... whom had found Luantar's body ... far away in case they needed to question them. The two were now put on guard-duty outside the great doors to the chamber. There was no way for them to listen in on what was being said, so they would keep their eyes and ears outwards in case the Shadow decided to act against the gathered Executive Council.
