Three Sa'ji'alantin with a common, dark cause have begun to beat individuals of lower rank into doing their bidding. Just recently, the three men of differing origins were Promised to Eya Sedai of the Green Ajah. Between the four, dark schemes and a plan to overthrow the Tower's power begin to take form. The Shadow falls dark over the Tower without anyone knowing. Gaining more and more influence, their secret endeavours are revealed by Caden Ives, the Gaidin Captain.
