| These awards are nominated biannually by members of the Grey Tower and bestowed by the Amyrlin Seat and M'Hael to characters who make In Character contributions that benefit the Tower (either in a specific Big or Major RP, or through broad general role-play threads). The Amyrlin Seat and M'Hael make the final decision in all cases. These are the very highest In Character awards given to characters who are played above and beyond expectations. These awards should be giving in a formal IC ceremony (public or private) but may be given Out of Character if circumstances prevent an In Character ceremony. All awards are displayed on the character's biography to mark of their contribution. | |
![]() | Jenn Aiel Shield Ribbon Given to a character who demonstrated courage in the face of danger, risking one's life or limb to protect another non-violently. This is an IC award. [link: Award Winners] |
![]() | Swords of the Hero Awarded to a character in recognition of heroism through selflessly placing one's life in danger to protect or rescue another in battle. The character is written with superb realism, awareness of battle tactics, and demonstration of vivid heroism. This is an IC award. [link: Award Winners] |
![]() | Wreath of Valor Awarded to a character for leadership in battle demonstrating tactics, courage, and honor through extreme danger at supreme personal risk for the benefit and survival of one's unit (or the Citadel, or the Tower itself). ![]() | Purple Heart Awarded to a character on [insert date] who is seriously injured as a result of purposeful direct or indirect enemy hostility in combat. Or for contracting a serious and debilitating illness caused by deliberate enemy attack. The injury or illness should result in permanent or significant physical or psychological debilitation - through which the player contributed superb posts relevant to the situation. ![]() | The Rod of Discipline Awarded to a character for apt and creative enforcement of the Tower's rules and customs upon those who trespass them. Punishments and penance are fair and just and one who has earned this medal has disciplined at least ten characters (not necessarily learning ranks) in accordance with the hierarchical structure of the Tower. ![]() | The Sitters' Chair Order Awarded to a Sitter, Ajah Head, or Officer who maintain consistent and constructive presence in the Hall of Sitters and contribute thoughtful and insightful posts to discussion. ![]() | The Master's Hand Awarded to a character for selfless devotion to teaching and mentorship of characters developing weapon skills and/or advantages. This award is for trainers who write consistent and reliable posts that guide students through training in a clear and concise manner. Bi-Annual OOC Tower Awards | |
| These awards are nominated biannually by members of the Grey Tower and bestowed by the Amyrlin Seat and M'Hael to players who make contributions that benefit the entire Tower. Ajah Heads are encouraged to nominate players if they and their Ajah directly benefited from the player's contribution. The Amyrlin Seat and M'Hael make the final decision in all cases. These awards recognize selfless acts that soar high above and beyond expectations. These awards are displayed on the biographies of all of the player's characters to mark of their contribution. | |
![]() | The Blue Heart Citation Awarded to a player who through real-life crisis keep current with plot despite an overwhelming level of events occurring or mounting obligations. The player may be only able to post at a minimum level for up to three months, but their contribution is consistent and focused. This is an OOC award. [link: Award Winners] |
![]() | The Silver Crescent Awarded to a player who demonstrates a strong sense of maturity and leadership through the Hall of Sitters, through a Tower OOC crisis, or through a Big or Major Role-play. This is an OOC award. [link: Award Winners] |
![]() | The Ajah Torch Medal Awarded to a player who built an abandoned Ajah back up from ground. This includes building a new Ajah Hall, becoming a strong IC and OOC presence, and recruiting aspirants to the Ajah. To read posts by this player, or view artwork created by the player, is to feel as if one is walking in the shoes of a real person in the WoT world. ![]() | The Plague Award Awarded to a player in recognition of their willingness and ability to put their character through extraordinary personal hardship, be it suffering through plague or personal crisis, through which the player contributed superb posts relevant to the situation. ![]() | Bronze Tower This medal is awarded to a player who has shown motivation in a Big or Major Role-play through good character development and realism, consistent activity, and support of other characters and their development. ![]() | Silver Tower This medal is awarded to a player with real motivation and initiative above and beyond expectation in a Big or Major Role-play with excellent character development and realism. ![]() | Gold Tower This medal is awarded for demonstrating extraordinary writing in a Big or Major Role-play through contributions to the major plot arch which require initiative, or for organizing his or her own complimentary minor plot-arch in support of the larger story. This player's posts are consistent, deep, prompt, and in accordance with the host's goals. Alternatively, this medal may be awarded to a player who runs his or her own Big Role-play from start to finish. As a result, the Big Role-play has a lasting effect on the Tower story and the lives of its participating characters, referenced in threads occurring after the Big Role-play has come to a close.
