| Ajah Benefit Types and Tiers
Types of Benefits and Cost to Benefit Points
Introduction:
The following outlines the types of benefits that Aes Sedai, Asha'man, and their bonded Warders can gain through experience and recognition. Skills, attributes, and weaves are specific for each Ajah (or position of being "of all Ajahs and none" in the case of the Amyrlin Seat and M'Hael), whereas Power Increases and Talent Increases are uniform for all Ajahs. Power and Talent Increases cost two Benefit points; whereas skills, attributes, and weaves cost one Benefit point and have additional effort required to learn them. A skill, attribute, or weave from an Ajah not of one's own costs an additional Benefit point. Secret skills, attributes, weaves may require role-play with a specific member of the Ajah and are almost never taught to anyone outside of that Ajah.

An increase of one's potential strength channeling the One Power by one level. No additional effort required to gain. |
Two Benefit points |
| Talent Increase |
An increase of either one's aptitude in a particular Talent by one Talent point, or one point in a new Talent. No additional effort required to gain beyond requirements set by the Talents system. |

| Skill/Aptitude |
The addition of a skill or aptitude learned through a one or more effort requirements based on its level in the tier below. |

| Secret Benefits |
The addition of a skill, aptitude, weave, or any set thereof available only through role-play with a specific person in one's Ajah (or through a document or object of power if that player left the Tower). Secret benefits are almost never, if ever, given to those outside the Ajah. They are learned through a one or more effort requirements based on its level in the tier below. |
