Happy May, everyone. Hopefully it will be filled with more sunshine than finals.
We have a new Mistress of Novices. Congratulations to Elyscia Mordel, and may she do a good job at whipping those novices into shape. Literally, with any luck. Congratulations also go to Laela Allette, who gave us one of the closest elections that we have had in a long time.
More congrats go to Firredal/Foxill , on the arrival of Secondborn. You people have got to stop having all these gorgeous babies. I’m going to die of cute overload.
There’s some type of shenanigans going on in the Yards and anyone is free to participate. Not that I would promote such a mindless waste of time.
This isn’t earth shattering news, but hey, I’m writing this so I can put in whatever I want. The Bondable List has had many new entries over the past couple of weeks. Head over and look at the entries and find someone to RP with! I also hear our illustrious M’Hael is looking for a warder or a bondmate…
New members:
First we welcomed Lucien Mantear, a new soldier. He was followed by novice Kesiera Mordel, the Mistress of Novice’s twin sister. I foresee interesting things coming of this.
Next we had Lissa al’Gwin join us as our newest novice from the Two Rivers. And we had a particularly good week with the boys, as we got another soldier, Jacovian Messair.
That’s all folks. If you ever want anything announced, you know where to contact us.

The Tower has been quite abuzz both IC and OOC this week, so let's get started.
The Hall of Sitters is currently electing a new Mistress of Novices. The candidates are Elyscia Mordel and Laela Allette. All Hall members be sure to go vote!
Admin is doing some Tower updates, so you might notice some new shinys and condensed pages around the site. We also screw up a lot (well okay, I do), so be sure to email greytower1@yahoo.com and let us know if you see anything wrong. And since he loves being praised publicly, we can all thank Caden Ives for the lovely new headers throughout the Tower.
Bel Tine has begun, so go over and join in the festivities! There's more than one activity available to make your characters look like either complete idiots or the most decorated athlete since Michael Phelps, so run over and have a go.
Raisings:
We had not one, but two new Sisters get their shawls this week. Tamora el'Galina and Nykkolaia Zeran bounded up those Stairs like they were cake, joining the Green and Blue Ajahs respectively.
Returns:
He was never gone IC, but OOC we welcome back Kubotai Sobatsu Ji'alantin, much to the happiness of a certain Gaidar Captain/Captain General/Asha'man/Aes Sedai/Drin...do you have enough characters for me to remember yet Bella?
Promises:
We missed it last week, but a promise was declared between Accepted Latonia Svan and Ji'alantin Nesir Aeser. Now that's one those of us not of the darker persuasion are going to have to watch out for...
...I think that's it. Until next week. You can thwap me if I forgot stuff.

Please bear with me while I sort out how to update the site blog; I'm new at this. We're a bit behind on updating, and we've had rather a lot of activity in the meantime!
Raisings:
Vibyka and Corsedai both achieved the darker greys of Ji'dar, and Jeremiah reached Ji'alantin. Sappho, meanwhile, braved the arches to gain Acceptance.
New and Returned Characters:
Celene and Aiko, both of the Yellow Ajah, have each begun new novice characters, Esrae and Eliza respectively. Novice Tamika has brought back her Aes Sedai character from retirement; welcome back Ninya Evoneigh of the Blue Ajah! And finally, a former member, once Urikanu Gaidin, has found his way back to the Tower with a new drin'far'ji, Cavander Faldron.
Awards:
The M'Hael, Amyrlin Seat, and Master of Arms announced the Tower Awards this week, and Storm Sedai bestowed ribbons to Justice Masque participants. Congratulations, everyone; the awards were well earned.
It's just a very small portion of the recognitions this spring, but particular congratulations to Storm Ananke and Zaephra Wyrd on their Rand Awards for Achievement, one of the highest honors the Grey Tower has to offer.
