The Grey Tower is holding an election for the 15th Master of Arms. All members with a played character of middle rank or higher may vote. The voting form can be found linked from the M'Hael's post on the Hall of Sitters board.

Since our last update, Esrae, Liaran, and Zulaya have passed through the arches to gain Acceptance.  Congratulations, ladies!  We've also had several new members join our ranks; everyone give a warm welcome to Aoethan, Asheen, Mora, Rashellaen, and Sasha!

And last but not least, just a quick reminder that cyberbullying is bad, mmk?  If you ever feel bullied, tell an authority immediately because you don't have to put up with that.

We've had quite a bit going on lately in terms of membership:
First and foremost, we welcome Jackalyn Antinic Drin'far'ji who emerged from the midst of the Yards to complete Evel's set, and Novice Liolet Belwhyn, Misty's new Tairen toy.
We also welcome back Alarielle Narem of the Blue Ajah, who has wandered quietly into the Halls she'd left behind.

On the flip side, we wave a sad farewell to Kenneth and his characters Caden Ives Gaidin and Novice Rienna Dunn, as well as our WCR and her characters Storm Ananke Sedai and Poppy Dren Sedai. You will both be missed and we wish you safe travels in life's journey. Know that you always have a home here at the Grey Tower.

In happier news, we have plenty of raisings to announce. Riahana Ferria and Amelia Freintas have both braved the Blight and earned the fancloak and right to the title Gaidar. Latonia Svan and Norin Maddix have passed through the Great Stair, gaining the ranks of Aes Sedai of the Indigo Ajah and Asha'man of the Brown Ajah, respectively.

The Hall of Sitters has convened for a few elections. Anahi has been granted the title Master of Soldiers and the members of the Tower have spoken in favor of keeping Crysthia Faedryn as Amyrlin Seat. Currently, the Hall is accepting nominations and volunteers for the post of Master of Arms, so if you have a Gaidin or Gaidar and are up to the task, report post haste.

The Infestation RP is in full swing on both the D2D and OOT boards. If you've decided to miss out on the fun, lemme give you a sneak peak at the action. The shadowspawn attacking the Tower have found a pocket of resistance made up of Saffiah and Celene, while Maria, Courisain, Zander, and Shyne try and find their way out of the bowels of the Tower to do something useful. Meanwhile, in the refugee camp, the infinite wave of shadowspawn have driven a psychological wedge into the fighting force comprised of Aiko, Eliza, Norin, and Illyria, while Tamora rides in to help out, Amelia works to put out fires, and Berthima, Anahi, and Kinita try to evacuate those of the learning ranks willing to go.

The rumor mill is spinning out other interesting things that may be coming up soon, but all we can currently say for certain is that everyone should look forward to the upcoming Feast of Lights. In the mean time, enjoy the holidays, don't stress too much over tests or finals, and thank the Light you've survived another NaNoWriMo.

Huh, what?  The GT is still hanging around waiting for a blog update?  Oh.  ...NaNoWriMo ate my soul.  Sorry 'bout that.  I think we might have had some stuff happening.  There's some kind of bug problem in the Tower, and I think one of the Ji just earned her fancloak.  Oh, and there are a couple of elections going on.

Right, okay, okay.  Proper update.

Congratulations to Corsedai on earning her fancloak!  That's really all there is to say on the matter, though I expect a lot more cheering and applauding are going on off-screen.

NaNoWriMo ate my soul, but it obviously got a bigger bite of Elyscia and Icerril, who have already hit the 50,000 word goal.  Congratulations!  Everyone else, come on, we can do it!  We're all awesome.  Except possibly Crys, who was busy raising Corsedai and hasn't started her novel.  :P  (You know I <3 you, and congrats again on hitting Gaidar.)

Elections! If you're Midrank or above, please!  Hie thee to the HoS and vote for the next Master of Soldiers!  Nominations for the Amyrlin Seat have closed, and we expect voting to open very soon, so watch for that.

Infestation! Keep going on section 2 of the Infestation RP for a while.  I'll organize section 3 in...a few days, probably.  Soon.  I'll make a nuisance of myself on the MMB again when it's ready.

I think that's it.  I still have some blood in my caffeine system, so I'm going to drink some diet cola and get back to work on my novel.
