Deaman grabbe the dagger and held it in his left hand. His father had always called him backwards, but he was left ahnded and there was nothing for it. It also allowed him to challenge his opponents more as they were usually right handed. He took the Leading stance naturally, his father had taught him the very minimal basics. He held the dagger in Forward when he was in this stance, it felt much more natural. The Trailing position was his favorite and in this one he held the dagger in the Reverse position. This to him was the defence position and holding his dagger like this allowed for faster movement. He stated his thoughts aloud to the teavher when he came around and showed him his stances while he did so. He adjusted his stance a little wherever the teacher's eyes looked. "Father always said I was a bit nervous when checked over." He said, smiling a little. |
