Bruises at Best

Unsurprisingly, it seemed that Maria Sedai agreed. She was led to a man who looked to her like he'd spent the evening dousing himself in alcohol. She wove the basic Delving. It came easier now than it had before, although it was still difficult. She let it hover over the man and it finally settled in. She grunted slightly. The man had a bruised cheek, a headache, and a few minor scratches. As little as it was it was probably at the limits of her ability to Heal. She wished she could manage to Heal the bruise and scratches and leave the headache but that simply was not the way Healing worked. She wove Water, sliver think and tremulous and added a thread of Air that matched. Finally she wove Spirit making it almost infinitesimal -- exactly half the size of the other flows. The weave made a spiderweb like pattern over the man and then settled in. The patient gasped, his bruise fading and she had no doubt his headache and scratches were to. "It's alright," she said gently to the patient. "They'll be giving you something to eat shortly, meanwhile you just rest." Elyscia turned her attention to Resindre Sedai and curtsied. "Aes Sedai."
