Thoia watched the Master of Training and rolled her eyes as he spoke. Warming up. Standing. Very hard. She could do that in her sleep. Which is actually quite the feat.

She took a few really deep breaths, then steeled her mind. Time to focus. The basics are important. To start she took an offensive stance. One foot in front of the other, knees bent. She took the stance and gave a single punch in the offensive stance, with a quick exhale. then she readied herself again.

"The offensive stance is stable, and offers power to the blows. It's ready to attack".

She then stood up straight once again. Taking a few more breaths, she then entered the defensive stance. Weight back, ready to block incoming blows, reversed from the offensive.

"The defensive stance is stable as well, but is ready to step away, deflect or otherwise defend."

She felt silly saying this out loud, but she wanted to make sure Jip saw her. She needed to be noticed.
