Nice explaination! I think I have a pretty good handle on the weapon skills system, and the advantage system, but I have sort of a question about the advantage system anyway. As far as environmental factors go, could, um, familliarity with a particular enviroment be in a way considered an advantage? Foe example, a borderlander fighting outside in the winter with someone from the southlands. It would seem to me that the Borderlander would have a marked advantage over the southerner, given how jarring the cold would be to someone not used to it. Is this the sort of thing that you meant by "creative use of environment?" Another question is this: how are new advantages generated, and how does one go about suggesting a new advantage? |
