Just outside the Grey Tower grounds, bounded by a steep cliff on one side, and a river on another, is an area of scorched earth fenced off by null-wards which dissolve stray weaves. Within this space, channelers gather to practice their more destructive arts in comparative safety...supervised always by Aes Sedai and Asha'man trained in battle weaves.

Channelers of all groups may practice weaves here, on the targets provided, but may not channel at each other intentionally except in the case of duels, which are forbidden except when demanded by Tower Law and approved by the Hall.
