Aiko set down the book ,she had been reading. There had been wars between Tear an Illian, wars that seemed senseless to her. People fought, because they had no other way. The Greys had their work cut out for them. She wished peace for everyone. One less wounded soldier, that would be more than remarkable; it would be one less pain, one less scar, and one less person to be healed.

She fought with herself, but reality won. She reluctantly left her room in the novice quarter's. A lesson on war craft was logical. If you knew what others did, then you could figure out hoe to stop it.

She missed the days when she was taking care of her brother's and her father. They were everthing to her. The thing that took them away, was the same thing, that she was about to learn. She wanted everything to be right, she wanted everything to be healed.

She set the book down. She took one look in the small mirror she was given. Her hazel eye's blazed amber. She was ready to learn about war. She walked towards the lecture hall. She walked with confidence. Her shoulder's were steady, and back. she was going to learn everything she could.

When she found the door, she hesitated. Was she actually going to learn about something she
hated? She entered the lecture hall. Everyone was taking there seats. Aiko sat, and waited.

"It is good to see you all here," he began. "Many of you know me, but for those that do not, my name is Dwillon Ji'alantin. For the next several days, we will be studying the art of Warfare, a subject that, as of late, is becoming more and more essential."

"Today, however, will be only an introductory lesson. There is too much to teach with this subject, and it is too broad to go over everything in such a short amount of time. I myself still have much to learn. Even during my time with the army of Tear did not teach me much. However, our Master of Arms, Lord Caden Ives, agreed to teach me enough of what he knew that I could be allowed to teach you, and pass on the knowledge that he once gave to others, here in this very classroom."

"Master Caden reminded me constantly that, even with his extensive knowledge, he himself was still learning. I must press this onto you: there will never be an end to your learning the aspects of Warfare.

Aiko ocould not believe she was doing this. War, of all things. It was learning, she thought, it was something she had to learn. She listened to the voice of the instructer ,and felt a little less distressed.

"In the meantime, here in this class, I will do my best to meet your individual wishes of knowledge. Do not be afraid to ask questions or make comments, no matter how awkward or silly they may feel. I will answer whatever you ask, so that you may get out of this class whatever you wish to know. For now, though, your first assignment - so to speak - is to introduce yourself to the group. If you can, tell us all if you already have some knowledge in the field. And again, feel free to ask any questions if you have them."

She thought to herself, teach me something. Dwillon seemed competent enough. It was her to turn to anounce herself. "I am Aiko Navoo. I am not into warfare, but I want to learn."
