This message board is for Roleplaying which takes place in the wide world
of Randland, outside of the Tower and its grounds. Remember:
Aes Sedai, Asha'man and Gaidin may go where they choose
Accepted and Dedicated and Gaidin-in-Training may not travel further than a few miles from the Grey Tower, except with permission, or when they are on an errand.
Novices and Soldiers may not leave the Tower grounds without permission, and when they do have permission, they should be accompanied by a higher rank.
Kubotai awaited her at the gate, mounted on a grey-flecked gelding and with saddlebags bulging with modest supplies for their journey. His fancloak made one of the bulges, settling for chain mail beneath a plain brown wool cloak for their journey. "No sense in announcing our presence," he offered at her unblinking regard of him sans his cloak; any other fresh Gaidin might be all too proud to wear that which he had so rightfully earned. "Shall we depart? We should reach the halfway point by twilight. I know a place of which we can stop."
At her assent, he booted the gelding to a trot, snaking their way out of the Tower grounds and through Hama Valon, then down the West Caemlyn Road towards their destination.

Dusk came late in the evening at this time of year, but it came nonetheless. The villages grew further apart the farther they rode, until the untamed forests of the foothills were all to behold. As the sun began to touch the horizon, Kubotai led them from the road to a thick copse of trees that provided obstruction from prying eyes. Camp was made, and the horses bedded down before the pair settled down to tea and an efficient meal.
"This news from Carnen...it has a good deal of meaning to you," he said quietly over the rim of his dented mug of tea. "Would it be too bold of me to ask how?"
Kubotai Gaidin "My life that could have been, was, for but an instant, and is gone. I would recapture it once upon a time, but that dance will not befit the embrace of the Shadow, which shall consume me only as I tear out the last beat of its heart. Amen."
