If you are an official permitted to post on the Hall of Sitters MB and wish to propose a topic for discussion, you must first fill out the following form. This allows us to put discussions in a queue, thereby preventing congestion on the MB: we're all aware of the frustrations of having discussions half finished and then left hanging when another one is simultaneously proposed.

Your proposal will be received by the Amyrlin and the M'Hael, who will decide whether it should hold priority over topics that are already in the queue, and place it accordingly. Once a topic being discussed on the MB is concluded, the Amyrlin or M'hael will begin the next proposal. Topics will be addressed in numerical order from lowest to highest, but the arrangement may be changed if some particular issue becomes more pressing.

Proposals currently in the queue are:

  1. Proposal to revise Talent System. The Talent information page states that an RP thread or fanfic is needed only for a rare or a very rare Talent, but only a couple Talents are actually identified as rare. I think that an RP, class. or fanfic should be a requirement for the first point or points in any Talent, even common ones. It will make more sense for character development and also force the writer to think about why they want the Talent and what uses it will have for the character. In addition, I feel that the rare Talents should be identified as such, with longer word counts and a better standard of writing overall required to have them. I'd also like to see them limited to one per person, to keep them as what they are, rare, and prevent any potential misuse. Submitted by Caitelyn
  2. Proposal to review and revisit the rules of the Benefit System. To some they appear unclear and should be revisited, renegotiated, and clarified for general use.  After the new Benefit System has been in use for over a year, I feel it important that we take it up for the Hall a second time to remove any kinks that has become evident and fix other things that we now have a better and more grounded experience with. For example: the requirements for the Tiers, how they might be lessened a fair bit? Also, with the new direction the Tower has taken and with more people in our halls, we should be able to finally find the perfect solution for us all. Let us make the Benefit System more attractive and - in short - finalise it. Submitted by Caden Ives
  3. Proposal for the creation of an adult content message board that would be password protected for those who wish to take their writing beyond that of the PG-13 level deemed appropriate for the boards. Submitted by Misty and Riven.
  4. Proposal to revisit and modify the Mentor Program rules and guidelines aimed at addressing troubling issues with seeming full-rank apathy toward new members This will be discussed and hopefully implemented to buttress the MoNSTers, who are having issues finding capable and interested full-rank mentors for the influx of new faces. Submitted by Misty.
