What is a blade-brother, blood-brother, Indigo-sister, first-sister, near-sister, etc. and how do I get one?
This concept is an expansion of the Aiel kinship relations found in the books. *-siblings are people whose Tower characters are especially close. In most cases, this relationship extends OOC as well. Prefixes other than the traditional first- and near- often hold special significance for the pair.
There is no definite procedure for establishing a kinship relation. In most cases, people just ask.

What is a mentor and what does it do?
A mentor is an experienced Tower member assigned to a new novice, soldier, or drin'far'ji to help them get acquainted with the Grey Tower. Mentor activities include role-playing with their mentoree and answering any questions their mentoree may have.

What is this "shara" thing people keep posting about?
A "shara" is a term used when people need to take a leave of absence from the Grey Tower. Usually it is due to IRL (In Real Life) circumstances that prevents the person from posting on the message boards or even being online. It is announced on the MMB (Main Message Board) usually, and submitted through the shara form. You can find that as well as the list of those on shara here.
