Members image

Aes Sedai and Asha'aman image  These are the fully raised members of the Tower, who have spent years training to perfect their skills with the One Power. Each dedicates his life to fighting the Shadow in a way suited to his skills and personality.

Accepted and Dedicated image  These are the channelers who have passed the first test on the journey to attain the shawl or cord. They are not yet as skilled as Aes Sedai and Asha'man, but are further advanced than most novices and Soldiers.

Novices and Soldiers image  These stand lowest in the channeling hierarchy, having only channeled for a few years. Therefore they are, as yet, unexperienced in wielding the One Power, and have many years of training left.

Warders and Trainees image  Unable to channel, these are trained in the arts of weaponry. Upon raising, their duty is to protect the channelers when the One Power is not sufficient for the task in hand.
